A Wonderful Holiday Experience! We had a wonderful stay at Side Square Hotel and were very pleased with the overall atmosphere, cleanliness, location, and especially the friendly and attentive staff. Their warm and professional approach made our holiday even more enjoyable. A special thank you to our guides, Qübra and Kamuran, for their kindness, professionalism, and for always being available to help. They made us feel welcome, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would also like to thank Ayşe at the reception, who was always friendly, helpful, and professional, and Buse from the restaurant, whose warm smile, kindness, and attentive service really stood out. False advertising as some of the information and pictures provided to the holiday companies weren't from there. The rest were carefully staged. Really poor all inclusive hotel. Even for the most basic of drinks and food and provisions. Not expecting 5* provisions, but basic would've been good. Food - same meat presented as different meals. (Burgers, stripped into casseroles, made into rolled meat or kebabs). Dining area has little choice of meat options for the mealtimes as it's quite small, always plenty salad. Drink and beverages. Bar staff did what they can, but they ran out of some alcohol every day at the pool bar and that is them being measured out. Breakfast juices often ran out or were unavailable. Cocktails were then just made up with anything left. Only 5 cocktails available due to lack of bar stock. Only local drinks appeared to be vodka and gin, peach schnapps and some sort of malibu. No brandy, no whisky/bourbon, no liqueurs/mixers, nothing to make a long drink. Coca cola/pepsi and Fanta were sometimes given as cheap cola and orangeade. Mealtime drinks, they were prepared to collect from the bar and were watered down as the ice melted. Went for two glasses with ice and the new bar boy said you give me money now! Room, not a lot of space or storage. Safe was in a cupboard and could easily be picked up and taken away. Hire was 2 euros a day. Room had poor provision. 1 bed sheet that was just the same size of the bed, requested extra sheets and stored them in the cupboard each morning only for them to be taken out of the cupboard by the cleaner, what were they doing in the cupboard in the first place?! Towel twice provided was ripped and holes in it. Balcony door didn't lock, but was fixed when advised. Not sure if it was down to bad luck but almost all uk visitors were in the small sub building right next to nightlife and poor provisions in them. Wifi you had to buy it for how long you need it, no free WiFi in public places. Enes on reception was great having to deal with all the problems. Felt sorry for him tbh. Pool, was nice but some towel dropping on the beds every morning and reappeared later in the day for them. It is an adults only hotel but daily, mostly younger people (18-25's) would smoke in the pool flicking ash everywhere and take drink glasses in the pool. Germans were on a daily basis the custodians of the pool, took it over with no consideration of others to chuck a daft ball at each other, when they weren't helping themselves to others sunbeds. Staff work hard all day, restauarant manager worked every day morning to night. Staff appear to handle German and Russian languages better than English, so appear to give better attention to them. No daily entertainment. Night entertainment once a week on a Wednesday. Plus point is it's in a good area to walkabout to get to the old town, shops, markets etc, all are a must to visit. Don't pay the prices of goods at the old town, markets and shops are way better. Although some restaurants there are nice (but a little expensive). Didn't go to the beach after others advised it wasnt worth it, no provision there, no towels, no drinks. Pool towels collect at certain times, replace at certain times at the spa. All in all, to look at the reception, lobby and bistro bar area it is really nice, but unfortunately that's it. Which is a shame, Seen some gave this a 5 star review, they really need to stay of the drugs! Definitely won't be back.
