We arrived July 18th for a two week stay check in was easy and our bags were brought to our room , unfortunately it was all downhill from there the room was spacious but dated the mattress was like bricks and I often woke up with shoulder and side pain , our balcony was small and faced the mosque which meant being woken up at 5 am by the call to prayer unfortunately the balcony windows didn't drown out much noise The corridors are dingy carpets old and stained and signs hanging loose I did like the pool area although it was often dirty with glasses left lying around from the night before and some glasses left on window sills that weren't removed for days , getting a sun bed wast to bad for me although I was up since 5 am from the call to prayer The food hall was a disaster when busy tables were slow to be cleared and you often had to find your own cutlery ,staff did their best but are clearly overwhelmed understaffed and badly managed, the chairs are stained and often wet Food wasn't great often the same things over again it was badly labeled and most of the time we hadn't a clue what kind of meat it was , juice drinks were either like liquid diabetes or 90% water now I know this is to be expected in all inclusive you can't please everyone but this is a hotel that claims to be 5 star. Entertainment, what Entertainment? Darts and water polo everyday the Entertainment team don't seem to engage with guests and are constantly on their phones evening Entertainment is just as bad A few scattered tables and chairs around a stage and the cheapest acts they could book it's pretty dark and depressing down there that we stopped going down and stayed on the balcony which was nice but again no atmosphere and trying to get a drink at the bar was a nightmare long queues which meant you'd pretty much sobered up by the time you queued for your next drink which was often half filled and in a warm glass Wifi was pretty bad Gym was dissapointing and in need of new equipment Everyday was a challenge not to break your ankle on one of the broken pool grates I met with the hotel hospitality manager very early in our stay and voiced our concerns , she seemed to do nothing about it until I complained to our holiday provider 3 days before we were due to leave and all of a sudden our room got deep cleaned you could see a lot of tidying up around the pool and the hospitality manager wanted to see me unfortunately I didn't get a chance however I did get a response from love holidays saying that they contacted the hotel and that I never contacted any managers or reception so someone is lying ill leave that to love holidays and hotel management to argue that This hotel clearly is aimed at German and Russian guests and caters for them they must have different standards because this hotel should not be offered to British or Irish guests this is a 3 star hotel at best and should not be misleading people that it is 5 star and before you issue your copy and paste reply remember I sat with you , I've seen your replies to other guests and it looks like you do nothing about it even if you say you will Very disappointing stay would not recommend and definitely will not be back
