My first experience in Malta as I've been told I should visit from a friend years ago. So the Mrs and I decided to stay at Ramla Bay Resort as a ninth hour book and getaway. The flight to the driver getting to resort was smooth. Then from the moment we got to the resort they were busy and we arrived in the night so I was surprised but I knew our first interaction with Pawan at La Sosta Bar & Belvedere was brilliant and every interaction when we were present was attentive and always had a smile on his face and believe me this bar was at the main reception so it was always busy. Acezelle another member of the team equally happy and conversational, my Mrs picked up she was from Philippines and they immediately shared a conversation and smiles. We located Acezelle at both the same bar as Pawan but also at Brigantine Bar. Last but not least the Waterline Bar team by the pool offering a variety of well made cocktails and smoothies to spice up mine and Mrs poolside vibes. Thank you all. Malta will see me again soon.

Ramla Bay Resort was lovely, and one thing I can definitely say is that the staff, particularly the bar and cleaning staff, were exceptional, kind and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to all the bar staff at Waterline, as well as Pawan and Acezelle at La Sosta Bar, who were always so friendly, attentive and welcoming. Their service really stood out to us and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was lovely, clean and bright. We did have an issue with some mould, but this was quickly resolved by the reception staff, so it was dealt with promptly. It is just something to be aware of when staying. The complimentary minibar on the first day could have been clearer, as we only received water and weren’t aware of what else was included. The food was good, with a good range of options, and we really enjoyed the evening entertainment, including games, live music and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy a drink. If you’re worried about finding a sunbed, there are plenty of areas to choose from, with clear rules from the staff about not leaving towels to reserve them, which we really appreciated. Overall, the friendliness and warmth of the staff alone would make us come back. We have really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to returning to Malta for a family trip in the future!

Apart from the warm experience from a very friendly staff,,,,I would like to mention one soft spot for a traditional coffee shop in the Hotel called KARAMELA... I had kafe tat tisjir which my Nanna used to make ❤️❤️❤️
