On arrival there was no service to carry the luggage to the room. We arrived tired and had to carry our bags ourselves to the 2nd floor. Old elevator and gives several bumps, very bad! Bad breakfast, dark and old room, bathroom water from the box did not go down and finally the air conditioning did not work right, with the heat that was in Rome, we cooked during the night (one hour we stayed in the hotel). Bad experience, I do not recommend.

Very outdated bathroom, plumbing needs to be reviewed, plus a sewer smell, cramped room, double curtain detached and not functioning, only 3 TV channels. Breakfast is fairly decent, bar service is nonexistent, staff is okay but does not speak French, cleanliness is acceptable. Does not deserve a 4-star rating. On the other hand, very well located, close to the train station and the subway.

One of the best affordable hotels we stayed at in Rome. Very helpful and friendly staff! Great breakfast with fresh, local fruits, cheeses, breads, and of course coffee. Excellent AC in our room! Great walkable neighborhood with some really lovely trattorias within a block or two.
