The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were lovely. Unusually for a European hotel there was tea/coffee available in the room. Hot breakfast was limited but plenty of choice for cold buffet breakfast. Hotel is very well situated only a few minutes walk from the main square and on a number of tram routes.

The 2 stars are for location, which is perfect. Our twin room was small but clean, not enough plugs and the mattresses won’t stay on the bed base. The hotel staff are not helpful and like to say no to reasonable requests..don’t give up, they will call for a supervisor who will be more sensible. Please note that during the summer this hotel is used by school trips, lots of them. This means you need to get up early for breakfast to avoid the noise and get a decent choice of food, Be prepared for large groups getting instructions from teachers during the evening in the lobby…no quiet drink before bed Kids running up and down corridors, shouting, banging doors late at night Avoid the summer months
