We had a great time in the hotel. There were 6 people in our group. We booked 2 rooms through Tui. We were given rooms on different floors. My son and myself were in a room on the 4th floor. My friend and her 3 children on the 2nd floor. It wasn't a major issue for us but I imagine that for a family with 4 children it would be very inconvenient. Transfer to the hotel tool about 1hr 45 munutes. Transfer to the airport 2hrs and 20 mins. It has a great animation team. Rosey and her collegues were amazing. The kids had so much to do: tennis, football, volleyball, many pools. The food was ok. We were never hungry but it is wasn't WOW. There is plenty of stews of different types and we are not big fans of them. There was also fish and some roasted meats for lunch and dinner. The salad bar was impressive. I wasn't a big fan of the fruit section- I was hoping for some strawberries and grapes. Desserts were ok. Lots of different cakes which tasted very similar. Some cheescakes would be a nice addition. The gala night's food on our last night was impressive- lots of seafood and sushi beautifully presented. I wish it was served more often. The snack bar at the pool served food from 12 to 4 and we all thought it should be opened longer e.g. if you go on a trip and come back after 4 there is no food available until 7pm, apart from waffles. The coctails and the moctails were nice as they were not served from a machine. There is food served at the beach bar for a few hours. There is also a lady there who makes flat breads there and she was incredibly rude to me when I asked for 3 breads for my group. I was worried about her understanding of food safety as when she was making the breads she was touching her phone. I deal with food safety at my work and this is unacceotable. Staff was generally helpful and nice, apart from a couple of servers. The housekeeping staff did a great job in the rooms. The staff doesn't speak much English. There weren't any Brits in the hotel. I am not British myslelf but I have been living in Scotland for over 20 years and I missed people greeting each other. The hotel is not far from Side. You can take a bus there for 1.50 euros each way. It takes about 15 mins to get there. There are lots of markets and shops in Side and the old town is stunning. There are a few markets around hotel but there aren't any grocery shops nearby. It was my first holidays in Turkey and the hotel was nice. Good value for money as we paid around £600 per person
