3 nights stay. My wife and I. Was absolutely perfect in every way. Location - 1 minute from las ramblas. Staff - so attentive in every department. Breakfast - beautifully presented and top quality. Again staff were amazing! Rooms were beautifully decorated. Clean and comfortable. Fabulous shower. Well stocked minibar. Rooftop bar - incredible dj nights, live music. Couldn’t ask for more. Staying at the hotel Espana really made our weekend in Barcelona- hopefully we will return very soon.

The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located and an amazing atmosphere

Amazing experience. We spent there just 2 nights, but we enjoyed every minute of it. Everyone in the staff did their best efforts to make us feel at home and they accomplished that with flying colors. And food; food is another level. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious with items for every taste. We didn't have lunch in there because we were in a run, but we tried the tapas, and they were great; personal recommendation: don't miss the cheesecake, so cheesy. And the dinner was out of this world; there is something for everyone, great taste and again, amazing staff. If we return to Barcelona in the future we won't look out for another hotel. Also, great location, close to the Ramblas. There is some room for improvement though: our room was great, but it lacks storage for small items, like socks underwear, shirts; some drawers or some shelves would do the trick, in my opinion. Also, elevators were dark; there was light, of course, but some extra lumens would make it more alive. Last, but not least, the Wi-Fi was very spotty and was not very reliable. Don't take it the wrong way; we loved it; just things to make it even better.
