Location is good, a short walk from St Peter’s square. Feels like a safe location. Not far from the train station which gives easy access to airport and city centre. Hotel has good aircon which is necessary in summer months. Rooms were ok, a bit dated and could be cleaner but nothing major. Breakfast was ok, more like a continental Buffett, enough to get a quick bite before heading out. Good value for money.

A little gem of a hotel tucked away in San pietro. Very clean and quiet hotel with the most comfortable bed I think I've ever slept in at a hotel. Its a little walk from the centre of Rome however there is a small minibus that stops right outside the hotel that takes you into the heart of Rome or walk down the hill and an abundance of public transport available. Plenty of places to eat and drink in close proximity and st peters basilica and the Vatican are a short walk away. We would definitely stay in this hotel again if we decided to visit Rome again.

I have given the hotel 4 stars, but the forth star was for the staff. Like most people's comments they were all exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all friendly. The hotel itself- positives. The hotel was clean, good towels, rooms cleaned well daily and the breakfast area was nice. Not so positives - The room was probably designed by a man 😉. A very small wardrobe, which also housed the fridge, with no hanging space for dresses etc, and with only 4 coat hangers between us, no draw or shelf space we had to live out of our suitcase for a week. There was also no mirror in the room to get ready and the sockets to charge your phone were the other side of the room, as well as no where to hang wet towels after a shower. But with a few minor adjustments and it would be much better. I also chose the hotel as I thought I may be able to have a drink on the roof top terrace and read my book during the afternoon before heading back out on the evening, but it was closed until 6pm, it would have been lovely to have sofas and a space to relax instead of sitting in a small room. The area - The slight hill in 38° felt like a mountain! So after walking 3 miles plus for sightseeing we sometimes got a taxi back. But be careful as some official taxis were turning meters off and trying to charge us double what it should be, charged €29 for what was a €15 journey. (We refused, and only paid the correct amount). We also booked a taxi one evening through the hotel and it already had a €10 charge on the meter before we left the hotel. I enjoyed it but wouldn't return due to the location and lack of 'extras'
