We go budget every year at the end of August. Talking under £2,000 for two adults and two children self catering for 10 days. The transfer from Barcelona airport took 4 hours. Asked for £100 deposit on arrival and £27 Spain tax. Room basic - had to ask for kettle and toaster. On day 7 and not seen a cleaner yet. Taken all our rubbish to local bins. Unlucky with our room as we have one of only 3/4 rooms that has no pool view. Didn’t realise we could reserve before arrival. Hotel is well situated - about 10 minutes from seafront. Supermarket two minutes away. Pool area is nice. No entertainment at all. Only has a tiny pool kiosk (not a bar) that shuts early. Everything was locked up at 8pm so felt a bit like a prison.No hot food available at all. The hotel looks a lot better on website photos. Wouldn’t stay here again. We’ve had similar holidays in Tenerife and Turkey for the same price that were vastly superior considering the longer flights to both other destinations. The staff who we did encounter were helpful and very nice. Unless your children are happy with just a swimming pool I would not suggest for families. We traveled as two adults and two autistic teenagers in one room. One bedroom and sofa beds.

The apartment was clean, pleasant, comfortable, with a terrace and pool views. The service from every employee was excellent, very kind; at the front desk, one of the guys helped us with a wound, the rest were also very attentive, from the pool girl to the security guard, the cleaning lady, etc... overall very comfortable.

Good location, but could be improved Overall, we had a good stay here. The apartment was clean and in a good location, right beside a supermarket, which was very convenient. It was also a nice walk into Tossa de Mar and not far from anywhere we wanted to go. The main downside was that the apartment was quite small, particularly for a longer stay. The beds had to be made up and put away each day, which became a little inconvenient. Housekeeping could also be more frequent. We had to empty our own bins, and housekeeping was only provided every four days, so more regular cleaning and fresh towels would have been appreciated. The air conditioning was another issue. The unit was very noisy and made it difficult to sleep while it was on. It only seemed to have an on/off setting, rather than allowing you to adjust the temperature or fan level, and it blew very cold air directly towards the beds. This meant it was uncomfortable to have it on during the night, but equally difficult to sleep without it when the apartment was warm. That said, we weren’t disappointed with our stay. It was a nice, clean apartment in a really good location, but with some improvements — particularly to the air conditioning and housekeeping — it could have been much better.
