If you are looking for luxury and a fancy inhouse restaurant then this is not the hotel for you! The hotel is basic, there is a free coffee machine in reception, no facilities in the room itself. My room was small but clean and the bed comfortable. There were 2 towels left out for me, the duvet, sheets and pillow all clean, a hairdryer & a wall mounted pump with a 3 in 1 shampoo-shower gel in the bathroom. Free wifi included as you expect. There were 2 plug sockets either side of the bed, plus 2 usb ports, along with light switches to turn off the main light and the built in reading lights on the headboard. I was in an accessible room which I did find a bit difficult in my wheelchair, no real turning room but my wheelchair is a large powerchair, plenty of room for a standard wheelchair. There was not enough room to get my chair past the end of the bed to the other side of it. The bathroom was clean, shower with a seat, plenty of rails around the shower, sink and toilet. Lots of hot water - turn the dial all the way round and give it a few seconds for the water to warm up! Good amount of pressure. My only negative was navigating the door into the corridor my room was in, on the way in you have to pull them open and they open out to the right, for me in my wheelchair I had to roll right up to the door, activate the lock and then roll back trying to guide my wheelchair and pull the door open at the same time, difficult with my controls on the right hand side of my wheelchair as my right hand was needed for both actions... They would be better pulling out to open to the left, or even better opening automatically with a card point on the wall for wheelchair users to be able to activate it with their keycard there. I'm convinced they only have 1 receptionist. Javan, who was lovely, was on duty to book me in on Saturday, when I left the following morning for my conference, when I arrived back from my conference and when I booked out on the Monday! Give him a pay rise please!! Even better was he made me a coffee every time I came in and out. I would definitely stay again. Like I say clean and comfortable and lovely staff. Thank you Javan!

It’s budget, so we were fully aware to have relatively low expectations. The pros ✅: - Clean and tidy - Towels (ask for fresh ones if needed) - USB charging ports in room - Friendly staff - Free tea and coffee in the lobby - Air conditioning (works very well) - TV - Close to Old Street Tube Station - Lots of shops / restaurants nearby - Free WiFi - Hairdryer available from reception - Check-out 11am The cons ❌: - The bed is the hardest, most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. I hardly slept the first night. Reception did give us some extra duvets to line it with but didn’t really make a difference. This would be the only reason I wouldn’t return to an EasyHotel - The toilet paper is VERY thin Overall: All in all this is a nice budget hotel, would I return? Unfortunately not, the bed was like concrete and made my already bad back even worse. I believe they have changed all the mattresses recently to these rock solid ones, sadly a good nights sleep is needed after exploring London all day - which we didn’t get. If the bed was comfier we would come back for sure, until then it’s a no from us sadly!

My initial impressions of this hotel were less than favorable. To start, the coffee machine was out of order, but I chose not to complain since worse things happen in life. After a three-hour journey, all I wanted was to drop off my bags and settle in. At the reception, a gentleman handed me my room key and requested my passport, as if I had intentionally traveled from Australia to London for a holiday at a budget hotel. In reality, it was booked through my work and paid for by them. Upon entering my room, I found it to be a small box with no window, just a large hollow space in the ceiling; it resembled a prison cell that had seen better days. After a restless night, feeling itchy all over, I went about my work duties. On the second day, the coffee machine was finally fixed, so I decided to grab a coffee, but no milk came out. I called the receptionist for assistance, and when he opened the machine, I was greeted by the sight of a moldy, congealed blob of milk that was too foul for my sensitive stomach, so I declined the coffee. Returning to my luxurious half-star prison cell, I noticed something scurrying across my white bed—a silverfish. I grabbed the remote control and attempted to squash it, but to my surprise, it bounced back and scuttled down the headboard where my head had been resting all night, causing me to feel utterly disgusted. I looked in the mirror and saw large lumps and bites all around my neck and head. Visiting the Everglades was never on my bucket list, nor was being bitten by tiny creepy crawlies while I slept. While the camping experience was enjoyable and the staff were nice, I regrettably will not be returning.
