Stayed here for 2 night while working locally on business. Location is good with easy parking and access. Room was pleasant and plenty of places to eat nearby.

We booked this hotel as a last minute Mother/Daughter weekend at a very reasonable price. The plus was the underground parking. It’s small but we found there were plenty of spaces. The staff were lovely and they upgraded my double room to a suite which was on the top floor facing the back of the hotel. As it was a late booking my Daughter had a twin room at the front. It’s a very busy road with lots of people going to restaurants. However with triple glazing she said she slept well. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The rooms were clean. The only thing missing was some breakfast tea. The only options in both rooms were fruit teas. The wardrobe in the suite only had two coat hangers. Not good for the amount of clothes a woman normally packs! The buffet breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. This hotel is 20 minutes walk from the tourist attractions with plenty of coffee and shops on the way. This is a 3 star hotel and it really surprised us how good it was. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Bedford Hotel for a wonderful stay.

Stayed at the Bedfort hotel in Bloomsbury London last weekend. The location is great with Russell Square, Bloomsbury Square and Covent Garden around the corner. Practically for the hotel, you have bus stops with good connections. Next to that is a 20-minute walk from st. Pancras station. I stayed there for 3 days with my son. Something went wrong when booking the stay, which the hotel staff resolved perfectly. A neat lobby with friendly people upon entry. We could immediately check into our rooms when we arrived in the afternoon. That was very nice. The room was somewhat dated and an upgrade would not be missed. The shower drain in the bathtub was rusted. In addition, there were no thermostat taps to be found in the bathroom, but old-fashioned taps. The toilet was separate from the bathroom, which is very nice. The beds slept fine, although they were a little too soft for me. The breakfast was more than enough. Traditional English and great coffee. You noticed as the hotel got fuller and it was busier in the breakfast room that it breakfast became a little less. There was quite a quality difference in the egg dishes on Friday and Sunday when it was very busy. It seemed the eggs were undercooked ten days from Friday. Conclusion, for a city trip where you are out all day with a teenager and you want to be in a central location, this is a great choice, especially if you are traveling with Eurostar. Bloomsbury is also a pleasant neighborhood to walk through, even late in the evening. We had a great stay here.
