This was booked as a last minute holiday with my son. I will start with the negatives. When booking with a jet 2 via a travel agent. A request was put in (which I witnessed) for twin beds as I was travelling with my 25 year old. I don’t mind sharing a room but didn’t want to share a bed. When we arrived at the hotel - we could check in but couldn’t get a room as we we were very early- fair enough no issue with this. Again we requested a twin room for the above reason. We told shouldn’t be a problem. Guess what……. We got a double bed. And not twins pushed together but a solid double bed. When I went back down to reception I was told there was no there rooms available with twin beds. They would make up the sofa chair bed. This they did very quickly and my 6ft 4 son, spent the four nights on the sofa chair bed. Not ideal as it then hindered us using the balcony because it blocked the door way. But hey ho. The smell of sewage/drains in the bathroom was not nice. The hotel was very clean and our room was cleaned every day. But the smell when you opened the closed bathroom door was horrid. Now I didn’t say anything at the time because i had already been told there was no other rooms available. So we bought a room spray which helped. Can’t take your own drinks to dinner. Now I can kind of understand this but.. I was only taking a Gatorade in as I was feeling dehydrated due to the intense humidity and heat. We were half board so our dinner didn’t include drinks. We don’t drink alcohol and there is only so much fizzy pop I can drink. Our drinks were taken off us and returned as we left. Sun beds….. not enough. And needs to open earlier. Stay away from the sunbeds near the toilet block as you get an awful sewage smell. Even though they are cleaned. Evening entertainment . We didn’t go to any of it. BUT we did hear it. Karaoke shouldn’t be on the list. Omg that was awful lol. We had a room that faced the pool. It wasn’t noisy when the door was shut. Now for the good points. Very clean, 10 -15 min walk to nearest beach. 2 min walk to the nearest bus stop. Staff that we encountered were really friendly. Cleaning ladies on our floor (6) were lovey and did a great job. I am a fussy eater, I can’t stand fish of any sort. But there was always other options. I enjoyed it. The puddings were very tasty too. Plenty of choice at breakfast, just make sure your down before 9.45 otherwise they start clearing it away even though they serve till 11am. If you arrive early there is a luggage room where you can leave your cases and in the room are lockers where you can lock away your valuables for €2 ( which you don’t get back). The ladies we spoke to on reception were very helpful when we were asking questions about the area. If you don’t want to walk to from the hotel to the opposite end of the strip where most of the shops etc are then you can get a bus for two stops and that takes you just over half way. Not sure what the purpose of the lifeguard is as he was always on his phone. Pool rules state no balls, inflatables (unless for children’s aid) and no jumping etc etc. Never saw him or anyone else stop anyone jumping in, or take large inflatable rings in. Saying that - it didn’t bother me. If I was going to stay more than four nights I would pay extra and go all inclusive because of snacks and drinks. If you are not all inclusive you can’t buy any of pool snacks. In the room the safe is hidden in a cupboard where you push the door to open it. Same as the fridge. The tv is connected to the internet so you can cast from you phone etc. We had a great time

Fantastic hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. Nice food.
