We went with a group of ten, needing five rooms. Ordered directly and received very good service, both before and during the stay. Unfortunately could not offer a good solution to get to Auschwitz, so we arranged it ourselves. It might be because we were a little late (a month). Otherwise a very good and varied breakfast, lovely rooms with modern design, good service and pleasant staff, fantastic good caramels at the reception, and a nice lobby. It was quiet in the rooms, not much noise, OK gym (a bit small) and very good location considering the distance to the old town. Happy gang!
Lovely hotel close to the main square (5/10 min walk). Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was OK good hot shower and underfloor heating. Tea and coffee provided along with access to a water dispenser which was great. Due to tours / trips etc we only had one breakfast in the hotel but it was really nice with a wide selection. We asked for a breakfast bag a couple of morning, expecting croissants etc but it was pre-packaged yoghurts / fruit / crisps etc - not really ideal but better than the alternative which was miss out altogether :) Everyone was super helpful. We didn't eat at the restaurant or drink at the bar (prices looked quite steep). Some lovely places to eat a short walk out. Keep a couple of streets back from the main squares and you will find some reasonably priced tasty food. One top tip would be, there is a lot of walking and to get round it all in only 3 days, if you are doing other trips like the salt mines, its unlikely you will get round it all. The golf carts were a tad expensive but a really good way to get to see some of the bits you might not get to. On the Salt mines - if you do go, its not widely publicised that when the tour finishes there is about a 30 min walk back to the lift to get back to the coaches - so don't get lulled in thinking you have loads of time because you wont! If you are considering getting a transfer from the airport, possibly reconsider. It took us over an hour to get through passport control, the transfer wasn't allowed to wait longer than an hour. Despite them ring me and asking me how long and me providing a rough estimate they wouldn't wait or come back for us so we ended up getting a taxi. Only about £20 so probably the way to go :)
Lovely hotel, very modern, nice and clean, very comfortable beds, lovely food and drinks, Just off the main street so nice and quiet, 10 minutes walk to the square,
