Before we had arrived at this hotel I had seen mixed reviews so was already slightly sceptical. We had booked through TUI and we booked a twin room with sea view. When we arrived the room was not ready which was fine, when we did get our room our key card wouldn’t work to open the door. The cleaner let us in and when we went in there there was a towel swan with cupcakes saying ‘congratulations’ which clearly was not for us. We headed back downstairs and explained and they looked confused, she then asked if we touched the cupcakes to which we said no however this must meant that they will just let the other guests go straight in there? Our second room looked nothing like the photo and was tiny, after ringing down to reception they kindly moved us to a room that looked a lot more like what we booked so we were happy. In terms of the pool there is no lifeguard at all, this is clearly stated however I think it’s highly dangerous with the amount of children in the pool. The umbrellas for the sunloungers had seen better days with some of them broke. When you hire towels you have to pay cash and then hand a ticket into the captains deck, when we did this the woman just threw it into a seemingly random pot. On the final day when I went to retrieve this to get my money back they had lost the card which I was not suprised at however luckily I kept my receipt. The resection staff and also bar staff are very rude, times we were standing at the bar waiting to be acknowledged whilst they were on there phone or having their own conversations. Reception staff not approachable at all, seemed to have an attitude however may have been language barrier but facial expressions say a lot. One of the days we had an early excursion and needing our towels changing which usually doesn’t open till 9am, we went to reception to ask if there was any way we could get some earlier and she just responded ‘there’s no towels at reception’ I explained I knew that but does she know if there’s any way we could get some to which she again replied ‘there’s no towels at reception’ in a very snappy tone. The entertainment was non existent during the night apart from a a keyboard man, he was good but there was no variety at all. Overall the hotel is dated which doesn’t bother us massively however having the wrong room twice is poor. The location is a bit in the middle of no where however again didn’t bother us as everything is within distance on the bus. The noise during all hours of the night is very frustrating, from people moving chairs to shouting in the corridor. The nicest members of staff were probably the cleaners, always saying hello and morning. We had a lovely holiday but it wasn’t much to do with the hotel itself and there is a lot of improvement to be done to it.

Lovely hotel, lovely room and view, lovely happy staff of cleaners and restaurant staff. Enjoyed the view from our balcony and the spacious room, food was nice and plentiful, always something there that one would like. Only downside to our stay was at evening meal half way through our week, a school party stayed and their teachers around seven of them were not concerned with their pupil’s conduct, the restaurant staff tried to keep them cordoned off in a part of the dining hall, but it didn’t really work, the ones breaking the rules were drinking alcohol and even vaping, the teachers and restaurant manager did nothing when approached by the waiting staff. This behaviour was just not acceptable. So the only downside to our stay was the clientele they allow, which is beyond the hotels staff responsibility. We would stay again most definitely.

We stay at the hotel for 7 days. Hotel is a little bit old but part of hotel is renovated. Food os good fresh and tasty ! Rooms for 4 peaople are big enought! Every day they clean our room, we had a nice view for gozo ships! I reccomende this hotel. Staff is very friendly!
