The worst hotel experience I have ever had in Europe! The hotel charged me 900 Polish złoty for alleged smoking after finding an empty cigarette box in the room. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the smoking policy and its penalties were never properly communicated to me. Charging such an excessive amount without clear communication or convincing evidence is completely unreasonable and falls far below the standards expected of the hospitality industry. The penalty feels excessive and unjustified, leaving me with the impression that guests are being unfairly charged. I have travelled extensively across Europe, and this has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever encountered. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values transparency, fairness, and professional hospitality. Stay away unless you want to risk facing unexpected and questionable charges.

Booked this hotel for a 1-night stay in Warsaw, due to its central location between city highlights and the airport. It was super easy to reach as you have many train and bus stops nearby. The hotel doesn’t look particularly impressive from the outside, but the interior is modern, fresh and nicely renovated. The room itself was spacious enough and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, both the hairdryer and the water kettle in my room were not working properly. My room was also on the sixth floor, but even with the window closed, there was quite a lot of noise from outside, including ambulances and other traffic sounds. The tv had a streaming option, but the WiFi connection was not strong enough to stream the show I was watching without any interruptions. I booked the half-board option, including dinner, but unfortunately I regret that choice. I was under the impression that half board would allow you to choose some meals from the regular restaurant menu. Instead, I was given a set menu, with a typical Polish zurek / sour rye soup as a starter and a choice between a vegetarian dish and a fish dish. There was no dessert included, only a bottle of water. This was quite disappointing, if I would have known this, I would have chosen one of the restaurants nearby, as this would have been a better deal. Breakfast was OK with many options, but they closed off the coffee and tea machine 20 minutes before breakfast shift ended. The reception and restaurant staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall, the stay was fine, but not worth the 300+€ for 1 person for 1 night.
