Fantastic hotel, brilliant staff, this was our 3rd visit....my only issue was the meals in the restaurant, they are never hot,but apart from that we had a fantastic time
Bar a slight hiccup to do with bookings at the beginning staff were friendly. Rooms seemed like they hadn't been lived in for a while we noticed dust around. Bathroom set up was good enough basically all you need. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was good, snacks during pool hours are something to be desired. The hotdogs were brilliant, fries aswell but the burgers we had were like as if it had just been slapped on a grill for 10 seconds each side. Though that might have just been us with a bad cook, entertainment was good enough aswell though experiencing Salou bars/restaurants at night is where it's at. The location was a roughly 10 mins walk from the beach absolutely stunning area.
Full honest review—hopefully helpful to anyone looking to book or already booked. Booked through Jet2, travelled as a family of 4 (2 adults, an 18-year-old, and a 17-year-old). From reading reviews, we were already aware the rooms were small, so we booked 2 rooms and requested them together. For info, we arrived at 11:30 am and rooms weren't ready until after 2:00 pm. Rooms were exactly as expected: very small with limited cupboard space, but basic and clean. However, one room stank of stale cigarette smoke; went down to complain and were moved. This meant we were on totally different floors—not ideal, but manageable. Food in the restaurant was fine, with a good selection from pizza, chicken nuggets, and paella to freshly cooked burgers, meat, and fish. Typically had carvery meat on most days, which was very good. Desserts were lacking and overly sweet. Pool bar food was basic for AI: burgers, hotdogs, toasties, or chips. Pizza was available for a fee. Drink selection was good—pretty much anything you could want. Cocktails out of a machine were basically flavourless. Entertainment was good: kids' mini disco from 9:15 pm, then different acts from 10:00 pm (singers, flamenco, karaoke). The bad bits for us: Pool area: Not the best—dirty and tired. Pool vent coverings were not fastened down and were dangerous (we saw a guy fall and cut his foot). Location: Right at the top of the strip, directly opposite a nightclub, and it was noisy. Half of the hotel faces out over the strip and out over the pool/bar. Music plays from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm–12:00 am and it's loud. If you're wanting an earlier night, it's hard to sleep if the entertainment is on (we used earplugs). Noise: Because the rooms are small, everyone books more than one, so all you can hear is knocking and doors opening and slamming closed constantly—the walls are paper thin. Kids running up and down the corridors. Cleanliness: Rooms were refreshed daily but never swept in our whole 10-night stay; our feet were dirty by the end. Daughter found empty packets of condoms in the corridor one morning coming down for breakfast. Lifts: Pointless. Check-out / Transfer: We didn't get picked up for our transfer until 7:30 pm, but there was no lunch included on this last day (we were allowed to get snacks and drinks from the bar, however). Overall, this is a hotel for those who want to party on the strip.
