We have just returned from a brilliant time at Sol Costa Durada Hotel. We stayed last year for a week with our 2 children (8 & 4) and returned again this year for 10 days and brought two other families with us! We never repeat a stay but this hotel ticks all the boxes. Great pool area, great food, friendly staff throughout! Rooms are small for a family of 4 but cleaned every day and comfy beds and to be honest other than to wash and sleep we didn't spend time in the room. What makes the holiday worth a revisit is the Animation Team, we were happy that they were the same team as last year because they are all superb and make an incredible effort to include all the children and families. Activities throughout the day for all and then the best shows of an evening! Our favourite Animation team member is CHANELLE!! despite all the families she must see she remembered us and made a fuss of our children! Thanks to all at Sol Costa Durada for a wonderful holiday ! Location is great, 10 mins walk to the town with many restaurants and the beach!

Booked this hotel as it is close to the theme parks. Positives are its clean, good location and most staff are friendly, apart From 1 women on the restaurant doors, who wouldn’t let us in the restaurant with a drink we had purchased from the bar! The hotel is a 4* however I would definitely rate it a 3*, not the class of a 4* I am used to, this was reflected in the price so I wasn’t expecting it to be amazing, the hotel definitely needs modernising, bedrooms are old and tired, food options arent great, bit like Butlin’s abroad, so we did eat out 2 evenings. Also they don’t open the pool area until 9.30am which I think is very late! Everyone is just waiting for them to unlock the doors then it’s a stampede to the sun beds.
