We arrived a week ago thinking we were coming to enjoy Puerto de la Cruz. What we didn't know was that we had booked a starring role in a horror movie. 🚿 **CHAPTER 1: THE CURSE OF THE HOT WATER** One week staying here and one week without hot water. At first they apologized to us, which we appreciated. Then the real movie began: every day the same promise appeared... —"It will be fixed tomorrow." That *tomorrow* must be in another dimension, because we still haven't met it. 👀 In another episode, they offered for us to go shower at **ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR HOTELS**. Because, of course, nothing says "relaxing vacation" like getting ready, leaving your hotel, and taking a trip just to be able to take a hot shower. 🚌🚿 🎁 **CHAPTER 2: THE PROMISED COMPENSATION** Another day they told us they would compensate us with a dinner and a breakfast the day before we left. We are still waiting for the next plot twist. 🧹 **CHAPTER 3: THE GHOST MAIDS** Here the housekeepers seem to have supernatural powers: they enter the room without knocking. 👻 And when you return after the cleaning, the game begins: **where have they put your things now?** Because moving everything around seems to be part of the interactive experience. 🛋️ **CHAPTER 4: THE CURSED SOFA** There is a stain on the sofa that has more mystery than the entire plot of a horror movie. We do not want to know its origin. We prefer to keep our peace of mind. 🛏️ **FINAL CHAPTER: THE MATTRESSES FROM THE MIDDLE AGES** The mattresses, according to our scientific calculations, are from the **15th century** . Possibly some conquistador slept on them before leaving for America. Mind you, they are resistant. We are trying to be as well. ⭐ **Conclusion:** A week without hot water, promises that are repeated every day, excursions to other hotels to shower, an announced compensation, surprise visits to the room, objects that mysteriously change places, a sofa with a past, and historical mattresses. Decent little hotel if your on a budget. They are in the middle of modernisation at the moment so quite noisy on the balconies ,banging hammering. The rooms are in need of a refurb beds are goldilocks either too hard or too soft . Decent showers small kitchenette .no air con. Work supposed to be on for a couple more months. Close to town easy access.

When you go to dinner they force you to buy the drink (water) since it is not included, also the food is repetitive and of poor quality, not to say terrible, I am about to teach them how to make pancakes since I cannot understand how the hell they are so hard, also the lazy cooks look at you badly and always want to leave early, finally, not to expand on it much because there are more defects than I can count, it seems that after 9 you can't even make a damn noise because everything bothers them and on a trip it is not normal to go to sleep so early, one thing is that we are making noise at 2 in the morning, but at 9 they are already complaining. Also I did not know that a pet was included in the rooms, the cockroach in the bathroom, we have grown fond of it. PS: I caught a fungus in the bathroom
