Old hotel on the edge of the old town. Cramped, dark room - very old-fashioned. Indifferent staff - maybe the failure by the reception staff not to pause their conversations to offer a simple "good morning" to customers is a cultural thing. Excellent location if you want the bars and Old Town - vomit on the pavement outside (obvs not the hotel's fault). Disappointing breakfast served in a room that was far too small. There were lots of options in Riga. We will choose a different one next time.
