I travelled with my cousin for two months. We stayed at Hotel Espana in mid July because the hotel we booked was awful and didn’t get our reservation correct. It was late and we were with family at the time, three adults and two little girls. We were in a pinch to find someplace fast and came upon Hotel Espana. Our experience over the two days was so good, my cousin and I went back to spend the last two night of our journey there! The staff is excellent, always welcoming you home and ready to help you in any way they can.. The location is perfect and you feel completely safe. It is close walking distance to almost everything! It is extremely clean. The breakfast is excellent with amazing service. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Espana and will go back next year! Thank you to everyone there❤️🍷

Fantastic hotel in the Old Town district. Newly refurbished, clean and beautifully restored. We had a lovely short stay (3 nights) with our older children (late teens). The rooms have almost everything you need (hooks for towels and robes would be welcomed!) The breakfast was excellent with a hot and cold selection and warm gluten free bread amongst the best I have ever had! The hotel feels peaceful amongst the busy surroundings and it is a great base to explore from. The nearest metro is a stones throw away. The rooftop bar and pool are by far the best feature of the hotel. The staff on the roof are brilliant, they were always smiling and pleased to help. The snacks are well prepared and the range of cocktails and cold drinks was perfect for us. The pool is small but an excellent addition to the roof area. We used it every day! We had a great experience and would return!

Outstanding hotel with high standard and great architecture and interior design, perfectly located at La Rambla street with short proximity to shopping areas, top restaurants, and just an 18min walk to Barceloneta beach. Great staff , great service ! We will certainly revisit.
