We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Belvedere in Salou. Without a doubt, one of the highlights was the mini-disco, especially thanks to the dark-haired entertainer who leads the dancing and gets the kids excited.

The activities were well organized, and there was always a great atmosphere. It is clear that the team works with enthusiasm and enjoys ensuring the guests have a good time.

Just back from our stay. The hotel location is great, close to shops bars and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The rooms were tiny and there was not much room for clothes, so we lived out of our case the whole time (we put them under the bed). The cleaners were there everyday however, the floor was always dirty and they only seemed to use a microfiber duster as opposed to a brush. The pool was far too small for the amount of guests staying and I'm not kidding when I say sunbed wars is crazy (I have never had to queue for a bed). The lifeguards put signs on your bed if you're in the pool (I had to shout them numerous times to say I was there). I think its good that its monitored though as quite a few were reserving them and disappearing. This does only seem to be in the morning though. We took it in turns to go for breakfast to not lose our bed. The pool is very overcrowded and far too many inflatables especially coming down the slides (my daughter got hurt quite a few times as did I) maybe the lifeguards should be paying more attention to that or put a perimeter at the bottom. Lots of grit at the bottom of the pool too, saw lots of children with cut feet. Also huge clumps of hair getting wrapped around your legs and arms! Food was very repetitive and warm rather than hot, saw quite a few ants as well. The waiting on staff seemed polite but the staff carving the meat were rude. Evening entertainment was basic but ok I suppose but be warned they kick you out at midnight and chain the chairs out of the front so you have no where to sit to finish your drink. Huge shout out is needed for Mickey Mouse (lead animation team) he was fantastic and always so polite and energetic. There are cockroaches! We got what we paid for and made the most of it, however we wouldn't return.
