Bad location, our tour guide on day 1 said to be careful walking around here at night. Streets close by smell like unhoused are making them an outside toilet Rooms - our travel agent pre paid months ago- when we get there they take us to adjoining rooms with 4 beds and a pull out sofa for our family of 5. The next morning they’re like hey you have another room we forgot to tell you here is the key- we say ok we will be reimbursed for the room we didn’t use last night right? They say no but we will give you a voucher to a restaurant. We thought it was for the hotel restaurant and we were going to be ok with that but it was actually for some random restaurant the we had to Uber to we said no can we just get our $ back. They refused. We even got out travel agent involved and they said they wouldn’t refund the room. A room we did not use the 1st night. Also one we did get our additional room we had to move our 4 times- immediately smelled of cigarette smoke called to tell front desk and they had the maid come and spray something in the room. The next day I told them again, smells like someone is smoking and it is getting into room- they moved our room to a room with a single bed, not 2 beds as needed, moved a 3rd time, again room smells of cigarettes, moved a 4th time. Finally no smoke and proper # of beds Still no refund as writing this. Shady hotel staff Shady area don’t stay

Do yourself a favor and do a Google Street View of this property before booking. The photos shared by the property are VERY flattering. The front door is flanked by plastic dumpsters, there is a XXX shop down the street...you're basically half a block away from Athens' version of the SF Tenderloin. The hotel staff literally told us not to walk north if we exited the hotel. Rooms were big, but ours was dusty, towels had stains, there were stains on the upholstery, and there were two flies that finally died on day 3. Walls are paper thin...when your neighbor opens their door, you'll swear they are entering your room. We also put the do not disturb sign out for our day of sight seeing to find out that the housekeeping staff had actually come in and moved piles of clothes that we had painstakingly divided and organized. Plus side - water pressure/shower was good. Breakfast staff was friendly. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Stay in Plaka or Monastiraki for a much nicer experience. PS - I've been all over Europe and the US and can appreciate an area that is less than polished. This was really bad.

Hotel great location for Athens attractions, rooms were clean and adequate. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine, overall no complaints and would recommend hotel
