As soon as I went in to pick up the apartment key, there was a 1-hour long line, and after the wait, the elevator was broken. We went up to the first floor, and as soon as we entered the room, there was immediately a terrible smell of sewage toward the bathroom, the ceiling was stained with mosquito blood, and the floor—let's not even talk about it. The TV stand was half-broken, and there wasn't even a fridge, while on the balcony there was unimaginable filth, dead grasshoppers, crushed cigarette butts, and rusty chairs. Instead, for the evening, the food was very good; they let you choose to drink whatever you wanted, and you had to choose the food and what you want; even the breakfast was delicious, and the food also changes every day. The sea, on the other hand, was beautiful, except for the many stones that were there and the sea urchins that you have to be careful not to step on. (there is still that smell of sewage)

I chose Hotel Imperial because of its location and the attractive photos on the website. Unfortunately, the reality was very disappointing and I left after one night. The hotel’s only real advantage is its location. Everything else fell well below expectations. The hotel is old and worn out, and the rooms look nothing like the photos used to advertise them. We booked a specific room category, but the room we received looked more like an outdated dormitory room than a 3-star hotel. The furniture was old, the room felt neglected, and the overall impression was far below what was advertised. Cleanliness was also an issue. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the sink wasn’t just dripping – it was leaking badly. Every time we washed our hands, there was a puddle of water on the floor underneath it. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was very limited, the quality was average at best, and certainly not what you would expect for the price. What disappointed me the most, however, was the hotel’s attitude towards its guests. I was travelling alone with my one-year-old child, and although a baby cot had been confirmed before our arrival, it was not available when we checked in after a late-night flight. Even more disappointing was the way these issues were handled. The leaking sink was never repaired during our stay, and when I contacted the hotel after check-out regarding the overall quality of our stay, there was no genuine effort to resolve the issues we experienced or to properly investigate our complaint. Instead, I received generic responses that did not address the main concerns I had raised. Overall, this hotel does not live up to the expectations created by its website. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.

Terrible hotel. No air conditioning in common areas; the air conditioning in the rooms does not work. No hot water either, broken shower, noisy, uncomfortable. The food is completely unacceptable for a hotel in Europe. Scarce and inexperienced staff unable to resolve anything. We spent an afternoon without electricity; the cleaning of the rooms is nonexistent... in short, we will never return. A disgrace.
